Originally a college for girls in 1906, then our microbrewery (Rikenjaks) in 1990, and now brought to the ground by Mother Nature. View fullsize

The were the 1st guys we met in Creole past the military checkpoint.  They were trucking food and water from Texas and providing hot meals to anyone that was hungry. View fullsize

Thanks to generous donations from friends near and far we were able to bring gasoline to families without power. View fullsize

We learned the essentials included baby formula, diapers, tarps, and baby wipes.  Trips down to Creole required different supplies each time. View fullsize

This photo was taken after Rita 15 years ago. It was designed to withstand severe weather and architects couldn't the damage it sustained.  This time it lost hundreds of panels and will most likely be imploded as a complete loss. View fullsize
